Hello everyone!
if you love to spend one week in the hills of tuscany, and you have some basic experience in alternative building, carpentry or any other kind of work consider this opportunity...
we, a network of friends sharing like-minded ideals on sustainable living, are hiring volunteers who want to join us in tuscany for some work and rest and have a good time (too)! We are not looking for master of the trade but... willing workers :)
1 day we´ll be working, the next resting, relaxing or visiting nearby attractions. plenty of nature around for hikes and artistic attractions in Florence...
some things we are looking forward to achieve:
-building 1-2 hats-bungalows (wood work)
-connecting water pipes and electric wires
-finish a bath
-clearing paths
date: 17-23 / 4 / 11 , Eastern Week!
place: casa le balze is a seminar house that is slowly developing into a permaculture project. it is settled in a quiet, safe and beautiful spot in tuscany - Italy.
accomodation: 11 comfortable beds (5 rooms), 2 tents (bring your own tent ok)
food catered: vegan wholefoods (no gluten), raw vegan foods. fruitarian diet option available. tuscany has an outstanding quality of products, fresh markets and organic food.
transport: from SouthGermany we have carpool options, otherwise individual
costs: food (aprox. 50-60E) transport (10-20), registration fee (50E)

the lounge: here we will spend our time watching movies, docos and sit quiet sipping our herbal juices, teas with the fire in the tiled stove etc.
the swimming pool is chlorine-free and inviting after a hard labour day in the (hopefully) sunny weather!
food will be wholesome vegan , mostly organic and with high percentage of raw living foods. fruitarian and low-fat raw vegan options available on demand.
a pic of last years camp on the yurt. meditation and yoga lesson will be run everyday early morning (5-7am). other activities including chanting, live-music and cerimonies will be hold for those wanting to attend. bring your own instrument!
