This popular Salad is a common dish in Thailand and whole parts of Asia. Called 'Som Tum' it is traditionally prepared with garlic and chillies, lemon, tomatos, herbs, salt, sugar and fish sauce (iuck)... U should try to monitor the making so u can leave out what u dont NEED! I only have it occasionally when dining out at vegetarian or raw food restaurants, not at stalls... But at home u can prepare a more sattvic version, salt-free and low-fat... no bloating, no compromized digestion, using all the benefits the papaya enzymes are here to GIVE. I use seaweeds like wakame, which can be found at some organic shops. I really like seaweeds and have it once, twice at week. Just soak and rinse well. Here's the vid I shot, topless haha.. Its really HOT this days believe me, with 35'C and whoknows the humidity... Green Papaya coools us down. Enjoy :)
